The Parish Remembers the Fallen

Cllrs have placed two statues at the War Memorial opposite St Peters Church in memory of the fallen of all conflicts – this is in time for the annual Remembrance Service on Sunday 12th November commencing at 1030 at the Church.
The statues are made by ex-veteran’s of the Royal British Legion and Cllrs intend to roll out more of these across the Parish to remember those who sacrificed so much for their country.
As with last year, Cllrs will lay a wreath at 3 services in the area:
  • Cllrs Phil Bown and Claire Levy will lay a wreath at the Woodmansey Memorial
  • Cllr Dave Shores will represent the Parish Council at the Dunswell Memorial
  • and finally, Cllrs Harry Bulmer and Roy Begg will lay a wreath at the main Beverley Minister service.
