Update on Junction Concerns at Long Lane / Woodmansey Mile

Woodmansey Parish Council has been lobbying the developer and ERYC for sometime now to make improvements to the new junction of Long Lane and Woodmansey Mile which currently sees vehicles (including lorries), turning into Long Lane meaning the Lane is used, as residents have described. as a rat-run.

Cllrs recently asked Mr Graham Stuart MP to join them at the junction to see the issue for himself.

Our photos show Parish Cllrs Kerri Harold, Amanda Beal and Phil Bown meeting with Mr Stuart at the junction.

Cllr Harold, Chair for the Parish Council commented “The Parish Council would like to thank Graham for his support in this matter and look forward to working with him long with local residents to try and address the concerns in this matter”

The Parish Council also recently obtained a copy of the Safety Report which is currently being considered by Bellway, the Developer. These are below
