Woodmansey Parish Council supports the Beverley Wombles

In 2021 Parish Cllrs agreed to set up a Community Grant Scheme to support charities, voluntary and ‘not for profit’ groups within the parish by means of awarding of financial grants.

Since its establishment several groups have received funds from the scheme and the latest beneficiary is the Beverley Wombles .

Prior to last night’s July Parish Council Meeting the Parish Chair, Kerri Harold handed over a cheque for £500 to the Wombles Treasurer Mr Ronald Keuning. Cllr Harold thanked Mr Keuning for all the hard work carried out by the Wombles in the Woodmansey Parish in helping to keep our lovely Parish free of rubbish and litter.
