At the July Meeting of the Parish Council, Stephen Oliver advised of his intention to resign as a Councillor, advising he was struggling to balance his work commitments, leisure and charitable activities and the growing demands of Parish Council work.
Chair, Kerri Harold spoke for all Cllrs when she said she was saddened by this resignation and that Stephen’s knowledge and expertise would be sorely missed – Kerri thanked Stephen for all his many years of dedicated and loyal service to the Parish and community of Woodmansey. Kerri noted in particular Stephen’s leadership and guidance on the Woodmansey Neighbourhood Plan, to which he had committed untold hours over the years, and that without his commitment, the Plan would never have taken off.
