At the Parish Council meeting of Monday of this week, Cllrs unanimously agreed to a increase by a set amount of £7000 on the existing precept. This will be at an additional cost of 98pence for the average Band D Household

6.1 Precept Demand for 2025-26
Resolved As a matter of record, Cllrs approved the precept demand for the financial year of 2025-26 which was an increase of £7,000 on the existing precept – it was duly confirmed this would be to finance a project to introduce two mobile radar speed devices into the parish. The total precept for this coming financial year will be £38,000.
Cllrs sincerely hope that residents feel that the investment in the parish with the purchase of these mobile radar devices is worth it. The Parish Council will move these devices around the Parish to areas of concern.
The chosen devices are PTSC 906 Radar speed sign with additional, large ‘SLOW DOWN/THANK YOU’ message and smiley/sad face £2600.00 + vat each
