Woodmansey celebrated the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee slightly later than most, holding its events over the weekend  of 1st July with Songs of Praise at St Peter’s Church in Woodmansey on the Friday, a family day at the Warton Arms on the Saturday and a gala day on the Sunday.
